Over 10,000 individuals are released from Alabama's prison and court systems each year. Without a successful start they are very likely to commit other crimes.
Regional Meeting Success!
We conducted the last of our CPR Regional Meetings on July 15 in Selma.  We had a surprisingly large and  diverse crowd, all eager to learn more  about how they can  participate in the CPR Network initiative.
 
Next, we will work with individual counties within each region to...

*Identify local county  organizations such as churches, state agencies, schools and community groups.  These groups will be invited to join the CPR Network where their services can be more fully explained and shared with the rest to the network.

*Identify the specific issues facing individual counties and communities.  This information will be used to tailor solutions and support services for specific areas.

*Communicate the activities of the CPR Network to every community and support organization across the state.
